Baramati Hi-Tech Textile Park Limited is one among the 26 parOur Chief Objective of starting the Baramati Hi-Tech Textile Park Ltd.(BHTPL) was to create quality rural employment for the women from the rural regions around Baramati.
The SPV created with the vision of economization of production costs under the Central Government Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks, Govt. Of India, Ministry of Textiles, has led to creation of skilled and trained labour.
BHTPL comprises of a select group of textile units specializing in Garmenting, Apparel, Weaving, Printing & Packaging, Home Furnishing, Embroidery, Technical Textiles, etc with a series of smaller ancillary support units.
The product range in these units are also diverse ranging from women’s night wear/suits, kids care products for exports, hosiery garments for boys and girls, children’s night garments, sportswear, men’s wear, etc.ks that were approved by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Park Common Facilities
The Park has a modern Common Facilities Centre that includes a training centre for imparting basic skills in garmenting to the local women seeking jobs. The Park works with the local gram panchayats around to ensure that the local women are sourced and facilitations for logistics such as bus connectivity to their remote villages is chalked out properly to their convenience. A Bank Extension Counter for various banking needs, R&D and Quality Centre for designing of world class products and meeting global quality standards, cafeteria for refreshments and crèche facilities within the campus form the other facets of the Park for the inmates.
The Baramati Hi-Tech Textile Park is the first Textile Park in Maharashtra to have a specific focus on garmenting. It has already become a Case Study for other Parks in India and abroad. The Park has already enabled Rural Women Empowerment with over 75% of the current employee strength of 3000 being women. At full strength, the Park will employ about 6000 people with women at the same ratio as today. We have also laid a strong emphasis on ensuring that the Park right from the inception has clean and environmental friendly policies. Gutkha or paan intake anywhere in the Park premises is banned, Usage of Plastic and even paper for tissues etc has been strongly discouraged. Events to promote awareness on Women’s Issues such as Health, Sanitation, Personal Finance and Education which will also lead to a better quality of life for the rural masses has been another highlight.
We are proud to say that Our BHTPL is truly an Integrated Park in the sense that it integrates the rural women and their wholesome development with an Emphasis on Health, Education & Swachtha or Cleanliness, while creating wealth and employment, that propagates to their homes to help create a better India.
